Official Rules - General Rules
• Points may be earned for subjects (as defined) only.
• Unless specified otherwise, June 21, 2000 is the start date for earning points, whether retroactive or going forward.
• Students will be eligible to earn separate and concurrent points for each Subject enrolled.
• Starting in January 2011, students will be allowed a period of absence not to exceed one month per calendar year. Students reported as absent for more than one month in a given calendar year will be considered un-enrolled students, and a registration fee will be assessed when re-enrolling. Also, such students will forfeit any accumulated Cosmic Club points and start with a zero balance should they re-enroll. (Note: Multi-subject students would have to be absent for more than one month in all subjects concurrently for this policy to apply. Students remaining enrolled in at least one subject will not be affected by this policy).
• A general rule may be superseded by a more specific rule stated below. Should a general rule be in conflict with a specific rule, the specific rule will supersede the general.
• Points earned are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash value.
• Points cannot be borrowed or loaned to attain higher-level prizes.
• Eligibility to participate is limited to students of Kumon Franchisees in the U.S.A. and Canada.
• Instructors are not allowed to order prizes on behalf of their students.
• Full-exempt students up to Grade 12 are eligible to earn points.
